Who BossDevs Is For

Not every business needs what I build. Here's who I work best with, and why I'd rather turn a project down than do it badly.

Who BossDevs Is For

A month in, the most useful thing I can write is not a pitch. It is who this is actually for — because BossDevs is not the right call for every business, and pretending otherwise wastes everybody's time.

Who This Is For

Local businesses whose customers are already searching. Contractors, trades, shops, service companies — anyone where somebody types "near me" and then calls one of the first names they see. If that is how you get found, then where you sit in those results is not a vanity metric. It is your pipeline.

It also works best for owners who want to be told the truth about their current site. Sometimes the honest answer is that the site is fine and the problem is somewhere else. I would rather say that than sell a rebuild nobody needed.

Who It Isn't For

Anyone whose main requirement is the lowest possible number. That is a real constraint and there is no shame in it — but there are builders who will meet it, and I am not going to pretend I can do custom work at template prices. Cutting the parts that make a site perform in order to hit a price is how businesses end up paying twice.

It is also not for anyone expecting search results overnight. Rankings move when the underlying work is right and enough time has passed for Google to notice. Anyone promising a fixed timeline is guessing.

How to Start

One conversation. You tell me what the business does and where the customers currently come from, and I will tell you straight whether I think I can move the needle. If I cannot, I will say so.

Start here if that sounds like the right fit.
